Ultrasonic rhinoplasty Mentoring
Spend a day in the OR with Dr. Olivier Gerbault to learn about ultrasonic rhinoplasty.
Three different type of rhinoplasy are scheduled to demonstrate all the scope of ultrasonic rhinoplasty and ultrasonic septoplasty
Attendees will scrub to see perfectly well all the steps of the rhinoplasty (full open approach, ostectomy, osteotomies, bone smoothing...) and septoplasty, and palpate the nose to assess bone and cartilage stability, smoothness...
You will learn to :
Visualize a full open approach during an open rhinoplasty. It's an extended subperiosteal bony vault dissection.
Understand the different types of osteotomies, their indications, their realization
Understand the ultrasonic rhinosculpture procedure (reshaping the bony vault without osteotomies)
Understand how to perform an ultrasonic septoplasty for septum straightening and graft harvesting
